    Giclee is derived from the French word 'gicleur'meaning, to spray or squirt. The work was adopted by print maker Jack Duganne in 1991. Giclee printing is a process which uses acid free paper and pigment bases archival inks in a 12 color inkjet printer.   Giclee prints will never yellow over time or fade due to its superior quality and allows a better longevity. They are often used by artists to make the reproduction of their originals as limited editions and for resale. Giclee prints provide rich color and remarkable details of the original painting.
